Router Specialist / Security Specialist

The Router Specialist/ Security Specialist brings technical and operational experience to the Technology Concepts' technical team and ensures that the correct routing and security model is implemented according to best practise. Solutions need to be designed and implemented in a manageable, maintainable and secure approach.

The successful candidate will provide technical planning and assistance in determining future products or services, including:

• Participation in consultancy activities such as Infrastructure assessments and solution development;
• Building specialist network infrastructure for clients that deliver measurable business benefits;

The job's responsibilities will also involve the implementation of operational support services for security and routing disciplines as well as training of junior engineers and continual knowledge transfer .

This individual must have the following skills set and/or aptitude:

• Senior engineer with at least 3 years solid experience
• Solid Networking knowledge and experience
• Solid Routing knowledge and experience
• Firewall management experience
• DNS management experience
• SendMail, Postfix experience
• Strong Linux experience and proven track record
• Strong technical ability
• Logical thinker
• Self motivated and organised individual
• Good admin skills
• Team player
• Project orientation

Salary is negotiable and dependent on level of experience and qualifications
