Dedicated Hosting

This hosting option includes a dedicated server for your company's sole use. You are able to lodge your own server in our data centre or make use of a dedicated server provided to you. Business applications, context sensitive applications or data intensive web sites often make use of this type of hosting service. A full support service is available with both options providing you with technical peace of mind.

Shared Hosting

More often than not, hosting on a shared server is sufficient for typical marketing web sites. Space on one of TC's internet optimised web servers is allocated to your for the hosting of your company's website or e-commerce system without having to purchase server hardware and software.

DMZ

Business critical systems making use of the Internet are limited in the sense that the public internet network is inherently unsafe and is susceptible to security breaches or “cracks”. Firewall technologies allow us to protect the local network when connecting it to the Internet without compromising the security of that network or the data that resides on it.

Using firewall technologies, secure “de-militarised zones” (DMZ’s) can be created where private servers can be housed on the Internet. The firewall permits selective access to each server based on rules which are set up and implemented on the firewall server.

Monitoring

We provide a monitoring service of servers in our data centre to ensure that the servers are performing optimally. This is achieved by monitoring different components like hard discs, memory and swap space on the servers.

This service allows our customers to proactively undertake server capacity planning.

Statistics

Technology Concepts provides Web Statistics to customers for statistics on web site activity. This includes statistics on daily visitors to the website, number of return visitors, referrers and URL statistics etc.
