Technology Concepts provides the Broadlink solution which offers a fixed wireless point to point data link product known as MetroNet. This is primarily a Micro Wave link product, focusing on high throughput and quality service through the use of licensed spectrum.

The MetroNet service is characterized by the following:

• Managed dedicated link between two sites.
• MetroNet service guarantees limited speeds and provides for unlimited data usage.
• MetroNet connectivity is available within iBurst coverage in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town and these areas are covered by Service Level Agreements.
• Agreement commitments on MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and uptime/availability.
• MetroNet will guarantee an uptime of 99.5% during a calendar month for links within the metro, with 2 hour on site response and a further 2 hours to repair.
• Should the customer connect to the TC Data Centre where they have direct access to the TC high speed internet backbone, they are required to include the appropriate port and/or transit charges.

This service requires a feasibility study and the consent of the landowner prior to final commitment of the proposal.
