Considered the most reliable form of digital communication today, there are a number fixed line connectivity options available to Altech Technology Concepts’ customers.
Starting with organisations that have uncompromising demands on the scalability, quality of service and reliability of their connection (coupled with a strict service level agreement), Altech Technology Concepts’ fixed fibre links are the ideal solution.
These links are designed to deliver unrivalled performance in the full-duplex XXMbps range and are generally utilized by organisations that need a real-time link between two datacenters or a central datacentre and a business continuity site.
For customers that have similar requirements from a reliability perspective, but aren’t quite as demanding on their performance of their connectivity, a Telkom Diginet Plus fixed line connection is a great option.
This form of connectivity is managed and monitored on an ongoing basis by Altech Technology Concepts’ technical team and depending on the customer’s requirement, can be set up with or without a service level agreement.
Customers can expect line speeds that range from 128Kpbs to 2Mpbs and can either utilise these lines for inter-branch connectivity or providing Internet connectivity to a single location.
Looking at customers that require the ultimate in flexibility, but are extremely price conscious, Altech Technology Concepts’ Business ADSL and Channel-Bonded ADSL solutions offer SMBs and small corporates the best price/performance ratio.
Customers can elect to start off with one of Altech Technology Concepts’ Business ADSL solutions and as and when their performance requirements increase, transition to a Channel-Bonded ADSL solution which, as its name suggests combines multiple ADSL lines to create a connect with far higher bandwidth than a single line.
Unlike simply running multiple ADSL lines to a single location and load-balancing traffic across them, Altech Technology Concepts’ Channel-Bonded ADSL solution uses a specialised router to create a single, larger bandwidth connection out of multiple, smaller ADSL lines.
Channel-Bonded ADSL is useful for boosting a small or medium sized business’s connection to the Internet and providing high performance inter-branch connectivity for larger organizations.
Peak Channel-Bonded ADSL configurations are capable of delivering performance in the 20Mbps downlink and 2.5Mbps uplink range.
